The Cub Scouts held their annual Derby Car Race Saturday, Jan. 21. There were 10 cars entered and nine boys will move on to the district race to be held April 14 in Winsted.
The wrestlers had six dual meets this week and swept them all in dominating fashion. Thursday, Jan. 19, the Cubs traveled to Zimmerman to take on the host along with Ogilvie and Mora.
The Lady Cubs played St. John's Prep Jan. 17, and Rockford Rockets Jan. 19
The freshman class at KAHS spent time investigating the U.S. Supreme Court case of Illinois v. Wardlow. After each class created a list of students who were interested in representing our nine current justice spots, they went on to give their opinions in class on current pressing issues.
