Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) is an opportunity for parents and their birth to pre-kindergarten children to grow and learn together in a fun, family-friendly environment. Classes are 1.5 hours in length and meet in all 3 communities: Eden Valley, Watkins, and Kimball.

Let's Learn: Designed for preschool age children 3 to 5 years old and their parents, this class offers opportunities for discovery, learning, and development of important social skills. Parent discussion will include processing the preschool years and preparing for kindergarten.
Evening Class, 6-7:30 p.m.: Mondays in Eden Valley and Tuesdays in Kimball.
Mixed Age: Intended for children ages birth to 5 (not yet in kindergarten), this class includes a wide variety of developmentally appropriate activities. Moms and Dads will enjoy topics that explore many aspects of parenting, including how we can use everyday experiences to help our children reach their fullest potential.
Morning Class, 9:30-11 a.m.: Thursdays in Kimball, and Fridays in Watkins (beginning Jan. 4, 2013).
Wiggle Room: Purposefully planned for busy, curious adventurers ages 18-35 months, this opportunity is for child and parent learning, sharing and growing through the toddler years.
Evening Class, 6:00-7:30 p.m.: Thursdays in Watkins.
First Steps: This is a series of
10 home visits for parents of infants age birth to 18 months who may benefit from one-on-one support and encouragement. Healthy brain development, attachment, and safety are core topics of this program. Participants receive free board books. Call Sally (320) 398-7700, Ext 218, to enroll in this awesome opportunity for you and your infant.
