Minnesota Pioneer Park is hosting its fifth annual Halloween Spooktacular from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27. Come in costume with a bag to collect candy in each of the "haunted buildings." Some areas are more for the younger goblins and some area for the older ones. Either way you will have a fantastic evening for only $10 a car load! Last year, this event took at least 75 volunteers to make it work, so we are hoping to make it bigger and better this year. With the "If you dare enter" haunted trail of terror and new this year the haunted 1902 House, with a tea party and all kinds of ghoulish things.... Beware there are surprises around every corner! And of course enough candy to fill your bag along with cookie decorating. Hot dogs and chili will be served too with warm beverages. All children must be accompanied by an adult while on the property. Bring a food shelf non-perishable item to donate.
