More changes are coming for post offices in Minnesota, necessitated by continued economic woes of the U.S. Post Office itself.
A meeting will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Eden Valley Civic Center about possible changes at the Eden Valley Post Office. Hours of operation could be shortened to 6 per day, or 4, or even 2. There may be a possibility of closing the post office in lieu of a contract station at a local business.
A representative from the U.S. Post Office will be at this meeting to listen to community member concerns and wishes regarding the post office in Eden Valley.
If you value the Eden Valley Post Office and the services it provides, you should plan to attend this important meeting. This could be your only opportunity to have your voice heard by someone who can do anything about it.
