Eagles VB move to 3-0 in CMC

Holdingford-EV-W moved to 3-0 in the Central Minnesota Conference with a 3-1 will over Holdingford Thursday night, Sept. 20. The Eagles (10-3 overall) cruised over the Huskers 25-23, 25-17, 21-25, and 25-15.

The Eagles are currently tied with Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa at the top of the CMC.

Senior Holly Schumacher had a solid night with 37 set assists,

13-14 serving, two kills and six digs. Teammate Kaylee Forcier, meanwhile, was a force going 15-15 serving (1 ace), 36-46 hitting (20 kills), and 12 digs. Other Eagle contributors included: Courtney Dilley with 22-23 hitting (12 kills), Baylee Lahr-18-18 serving (1 ace), and

19 digs, and Brittany Hesse 18 digs.

The Eagles next match is home Tuesday, Sept. 25, against Litchfield. It is parents' night.
