Thursday, Feb. 16, at 9:37 a.m. Meeker County Sheriff's Office and agents of the CEE-VI Drug and Gang Task Force, executed a narcotics search warrant at 600 Maple Lane in Grove City. Two persons were arrested at the scene. Katie Mae Holmstrom, age 29, of Grove City, and Richard Lee Albrecht, age 31, of Raymond, Minn. were arrested, both on fifth-degree controlled substance crime, possession of drug paraphernalia, child neglect or endangerment, methamphetamine paraphernalia in the presence of a child, and legend drug charges. Holmstrom and Albrecht were taken to the Meeker County Jail where they were held on these charges. This search warrant is the result of numerous suspicious activity complaints that the Sheriff's Office had received in the Grove City area. Sheriff Jeff Norlin wishes to remind residents if they should see suspicious activity in their neighborhoods, to contact the Meeker County Sheriff's Office or your local police department. Sometimes we cannot act on one call or circumstance, but over time, and with the public's help, we can take action such as is this case, Sheriff Norlin said.
