Elizabeth "Betty" Adolph of Kimball died Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011, at Hilltop Care Center in Watkins after a short battle with cancer. She was 68.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Kimball with Fr. Tom Olson officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Kimball. There will be a prayer service at 5 p.m. Friday.
Elizabeth "Betty" Louise Zanoth was born June 16, 1943, in St. Cloud to Clarence and Myrtle (Moreau) Zanoth. She was a 1961 graduate of Cathedral High School. She married John "Jack" Adolph Sept. 23, 1967, at St. John Cantius Catholic Church in St. Cloud. She worked at Holes Webway until spending her time at home while raising her children. She then worked for Gohmann's Foods in Kimball for 25 years and at the same time was the St. Anne's parish secretary. Betty was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church and she enjoyed gardening, bowling, sewing, and spending time with her friends and family, especially her granddaughter Emily.
Betty was preceded in death by her father Clarence Zanoth and sisters Donna Jacobs and Sandy Zanoth.
She is survived by her husband John "Jack" Adolph of Kimball; children Lynn Adolph of Kimball, Amy (and Dale) Seiffert of Brooklyn Park, Karla Adolph of Kimball, and John Adolph of Kimball; granddaughter Emily Seiffert, mother Myrtle Zanoth of St. Cloud; sisters Nancy Antolik of Ramsey, and Shirley (and Cliff) Dahl of Kimball; brothers Clarence (and Judy) Zanoth of Sauk Rapids, and Jim Zanoth of Sauk Rapids; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Ray and Jerry Adolph, Dana and Shannon Dahl, and Avery and Kyle Zanoth. Music for the service will be provided by organist Frosty Schiefelbein and the St. Anne's Choir. Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care of Kimball.
