Flowers will be on display at the Dassel Flower Show Thursday, July 26, at the Dassel History Center, 901 First St. Arrangements and horticulture will be judged, ribbons awarded, and displayed. The show theme this year is Main Street Memories. It will be open to the public from 2-4 p.m.
Adding to the event this year is a flower-arranging demonstration at 3 p.m. by Chuck Ortquist of Chuck's Floral, Cokato, piano music by Gregory Servin, and a Dassel Area Historical Society exhibit of area business premiums. Dessert and coffee will be served.
There is no admission charge.
Area residents who enjoy flower gardening and arranging are invited to enter their horticulture and/or arrangement.
