A record number of tractors were entered in the 14th annual Valley Daze Car & Tractor Show this year: more than 70 were expected. Those coming to the show were able to vote for their favorites. Those who entered the show also competed in a number of games like the egg race (driving around a course, pushing a barrel of water, while holding a raw egg in one hand) and the teeter-totter (driving onto a teeter-totter and balancing). Robert Sackett of Grove City brought five tractors to the show in spite of losing 80 trees and his barn in last week's storms. Show coordinator Roger Lang was very pleased with this year's turnout.
