Author dinner with mystery writer May 18

The Annandale Friends of the Library will host an author dinner featuring Minnesota award-winning author Erin Hart at Reichel's Event Center in Annandale Friday, May 18. Doors open for the dinner at 5 p.m. The public is invited to attend and tickets can be purchased at the Annandale Public Library for $25.

Hart writes a series of archaeological crime novels set in the mysterious boglands of Ireland. Her debut novel, "Haunted Ground," introduced readers to pathologist Nora Gavin and archaeologist Corman Maguire. Her books "Lake of Sorrows" and "False Mermaid" continue the mystery series.

Money raised by the author dinner and by other Friends of the Library activities is used to benefit the library and support library activities. For more information, contact the Annandale library at (320) 274-8448.

Great River Regional Library (GRRL) provides library services at 32 public libraries in Benton, Morrison, Sherburne, Stearns, Todd and Wright Counties. It provides Central Minnesota residents with nearly 1 million books, CDs and DVDs, 250 public computers, programming and information services.
