Friendship Ventures open house May 6

Opening its doors to the general public Sunday, May 6, Friendship Ventures is holding their annual open house.

All three locations are hosting this event, with Camp Friendship in Annandale and Camp New Hope in McGregor from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Eden Wood Center in Eden Prairie from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

"This event offers care-givers, family and friends of people with disabilities a first-hand look at our wonderful camps and a chance to learn about our meaningful programs," Director of Development Kevin Dietrich said. "It's even a great way for prospective volunteers to see what we do," Dietrich added.

Knowledgeable and experienced staff will be available at each location to give tours and answer questions about Friendship Ventures' programs and its camps.

"Many people have heard of Friendship Ventures and some have not. This is an opportunity for anyone to learn about how our services impact people's lives," Dietrich said.

No registration is needed for the open house. If you are unable to attend, personal tours can be arranged by calling the toll-free number. For more information and directions, visit www.friendship
