KAHS is state runner-up in Class A wrestling

The Kimball Area High School 2011-12 wrestling team took second place at the Minnesota State Wrestling Tournament team competition Thursday, March 1, at the Xcel Center in St. Paul. Jackson County Central edged out the Cubs with a stronger showing in the higher weight classes. Congratulations to all the wrestlers on a fantastic season! Among the school records broken were McKee with a record-setting number of pins in a season, and Caramon Hansen broke the career wins record with 147. Wrestling photos by Vanessa Schlueter.
