Buffalo Hospital is pleased to announce its An Apple a Day series starting in March. These classes are designed to introduce and educate the community on various wellness topics. Educational session topics range from sleep, nutrition, heart health, stress management, depression and several others.
An Apple a Day series classes will be taught by clinical staff from Buffalo Hospital including physicians, registered nurses, dieticians and other wellness instructors. "An Apple a Day series is a really wonderful service to our community. With health-related diseases on the rise, we are happy to get out in our community and make a difference," says Mona Volden, Buffalo Hospital Community Engagement and Wellness Manager. The classes are: Healthy Eating on a Budget Monday, March 19, Hazards of Sleep Deprivation Monday, April 16, and Insulation: A Stress Management Tool Monday, May 21. All classes are held at Buffalo Hospital and are 6:3-8 p.m. on Monday evenings.
