Christine Marie Kremers of Luxemburg died Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012, at Sterling Park Healthcare Center in Waite Park, surrounded by family. She was 87.
Mass of Christian Burial was at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at St. Wendelin's Catholic Church in Luxemburg. Burial followed in the parish cemetery. Visitation was Friday, Feb. 17, and one hour prior to services Saturday, at Mary Hall, St. Wendelin's Church. Parish prayers were at 7 p.m. followed by St. Anne's Christian Women praying the rosary.
Christine was born Dec. 6, 1924, in St. Cloud to Norbert and Mary Ann (Bach) Koshiol. She married Daniel O. Kremers May 23, 1946, in Luxemburg; he preceded her in death Aug. 19, 2011. They farmed near Luxemburg for 27 years and later lived on Beaver Lake. Christine was an active member of St. Wendelin's Catholic church where she also was a member of St. Anne's Christian Women, Catholic Aid Society, Crosier Apostolate, Luxemburg Quilters, St. Cloud Area Fun Singers, St. Wendelin Mission Group, and was school cook for St. Wendelin's School for 30 years.
Christine was preceded in death by her parents, husband Daniel, son-in-law Jeff Kirchhoff, and grandchildren Lynn Kremers and JOhn Kirchhoff.
She is survived by her children Randy (and Gloria) Kremers of Waite Park, Ken (and Carol) Kremers of St. Cloud, and Kathy (and Mark) Daniel of Kimball; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; sisters Bertha Margotto of Minneapolis, Adeline Weyen, and Mary Lou Zalewski of Spokane, Wash.; brothers Tom Koshiol of St. Cloud and Norbert Koshiol of Kimball; as well as other relatives and many friends.
Arrangements were by Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud.
