Lucille Dillon of Eden Valley died Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, at Hilltop Care Center in Watkins. She was 93.
Mass of Christian Burial was at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, at the Church of Our Lady in Manannah with Msgr. Francis Garvey officiating. Burial followed at St. Peter's Cemetery in Eden Valley. Friends and family called from 4-7 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to services at the church. Parish prayers were at 6 p.m. Monday.
Lucille Josephine Reagan was born July 23, 1918, in Manannah to Michael and Anna (Neidermeier) Reagan. She married Patrick Dillon June 17, 1941, at the Church of Our Lady in Manannah; he preceded her in death Oct. 18, 1946.
Lucille worked at the Waters Store in Eden Valley for 28 years. She was a life-long resident of Manannah and was an active member of the Church of Our Lady in Manannah;she alsow as a member of CCW St. Margaret's Circle, and the Mission Sewing Club. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary #381 of Eden Valley. She loved the outdoors, wildlife, working in her garden, and her birds. Lucille's generous heart and loving hands cared for and served many. She was very proud of her Irish heritage.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, husband Patrick, brothers Phil and Mike Reagan, sister-in-law Margaret Reagan, and by Emmett and Millie Dillon, Daniel and Alice Dillon, and John and Rose Garvey.
She is survived by son Dick (and Jane) Dillon; granddaughters Diana "Dede" (and Paul) Tollefson), Patricia "Trish" (and Jim) Exsted; four great-grandchildren: Dylon and Cooper Tollefson, and Madisen and Sophia Exsted, all of Brainerd; brother John Reagan of Eden Valley, and sister Margaret Snyder of Mantua, Ohio.
Arrangements were by Williams Dingmann Funeral Home in Eden Valley.
