Monday, Jan. 16
10:17 a.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a theft at a residence on 325th Street, Watkins. Upon arrival of the deputy the complainant was advised it was a civil matter.
1:44 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a custody issue at a residence on 380th Street, Watkins. Upon arrival of the deputy the individual was advised of their options.
11:28 p.m. a Sheriff's deputy came across unsafe conditions on MN Highway 22, Eden Valley. The deputy removed debris from the roadway.
Sunday, Jan. 15
9:55 a.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to and advised an individual on civil issues occurring at a residence in the Watkins Trailer Park, Watkins.
4:09 p.m. the Sheriff's Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance, per Stearns County Sheriff's Office, for a medical on Oak Street, Kimball. One individual was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital.
5:05 p.m. the Sheriff's Office received a request to check the welfare of an individual at a residence on Hillside Drive, Eden Valley. The caller and their information were forwarded to the Stearns County Sheriff Office.
6:05 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to assist the MN St Patrol with a report of a two vehicle property damage accident in the area of MN Highway 15 and 273rd Street, Dassel.
7:57 p.m. the Sheriff's Office transferred a call to the MN St Patrol for a car/deer accident on MN Highway 22, Litchfield.
10:54 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a vehicle unlock at a residence on School Avenue South, Watkins. The vehicle was unlocked.
11:57 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence on 375th Street, Watkins. The deputies mediated the dispute and filed a report.
Saturday, Jan. 14
3:48 p.m. the Sheriff's Office dispatched Eden Valley Rescue and Watkins Ambulance for a medical at a residence on State Street, Eden Valley. No transport was needed.
7:05 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a car/deer accident in the area of MN Highway 55 and 627th Avenue, Watkins. The deputy issued a deer possession tag to the driver and no damage to the vehicle.
7:15 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of unsafe conditions on 640th Avenue, Greenleaf Lake Public Access. It was reported that a four wheeler and a fish house had fallen through the ice. The deputy assisted the MN DNR Officer, who also responded, in arresting James Ronald Schlueter, age 45, of Hutchinson, for fourth-degree Driving While Intoxicated. The four-wheeler was at the bottom of the lake and the fish house was found to be 25 percent through the ice. No one was injured.
Friday, Jan. 13
9:45 a.m. the Sheriff's Office dispatched Eden Valley Rescue and Watkins Ambulance for a medical at a residence on Long Lake in Stearns County. Prior to arrival, EMS was cancelled as party was transported to the hospital in a private vehicle.
11:29 a.m. the Sheriff's Office took a report of a theft from a residence on 340th Street, Watkins.
1:18 p.m. the Sheriff's Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance for a medical at the Powder Ridge Ski Hill, Kimball. One individual was transported to St Cloud Hospital.
3:48 p.m. the Sheriff's Office assisted Eden Valley Police with property exchange at a residence on Stearns Avenue West, Eden Valley.
8:06 p.m. the Sheriff's Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance, per the request of Stearns County Sheriff Office, for a medical at Powder Ridge Ski Hill. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.
9:06 p.m. the Sheriff's Office assisted an individual at a residence on County State Aid Highway 2, Watkins. The deputy took a report and advised the individual of options.
10:28 p.m. the Sheriff's Office forwarded information to the MN State Patrol regarding a driving complaint in the area of MN Highway 15 and CSAH 27, Kimball.
Thursday, Jan. 12
4:06 a.m. the Sheriff's Office received a report of a suspicious vehicle at a business on MN Highway 55, Watkins. The deputy checked the area and the vehicle was no longer in the area.
8:14 a.m. the Sheriff's Office received a cellular 9-1-1 call reporting a theft from a residence on 103rd Street NW, South Haven. The caller was transferred to the Wright County Sheriff's office.
11:26 a.m. the Sheriff's Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance for a medical at an address on Hazel Avenue, Kimball. One individual was treated at the scene and no transport was needed.
2:32 p.m. the Sheriff's Office received a report of a scam attempt at a residence on 367th Street, Watkins. A deputy made contact with the complainant and advised of options.
3:53 p.m. the Sheriff's Office received a request to assist the public at a residence on Luella Street, Watkins. A deputy made contact with the party and advised of options.
Wednesday, Jan. 11
11:43 a.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to and dispatched Watkins Ambulance for a medical at a residence on Central Avenue North, Watkins. One individual was transported to Paynesville Hospital.
1:38 p.m. the Sheriff's Office took a report of a theft at a residence on MN Highway 22, Eden Valley.
Tuesday, Jan. 10
3:19 a.m. the Sheriff's Office dispatched Eden Valley Fire for a Carbon Monoxide alarm at a residence on Hyneman Avenue, Eden Valley. The Fire Department checked the residence and all was fine.
3:53 p.m. the Sheriff's Office issued a deer possession tag for a deer that had been hit by a vehicle in the area of County State Aid Highway 18 and MN Highway 15, Dassel.
5:24 p.m. the Sheriff's Office assisted the Eden Valley Police Department with a felony warrant arrest in Stearns County on MN Highway 22, Eden Valley.
9:15 p.m. the Sheriff's Office assisted the Eden Valley Police at a residence on Friedman Avenue, Eden Valley. All was okay.
9:45 p.m. the Sheriff's Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance to a medical at a residence on Church Street, Watkins. One individual was transported to St. Cloud Hospital.
Monday, Jan. 9
9:30 a.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to an animal complaint in the area of US Highway 12, Darwin. The deer was deceased upon the deputy's arrival.
10:17 a.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a civil issue on
Stearns Avenue West, Eden Valley. The deputy advised the individual of their options.
12:40 p.m. the Sheriff's Office took a report of theft from a residence on 340th Street, Watkins.
Sunday, Jan. 8
12:47 a.m. the Sheriff's Office observed suspicious activity near Service Road North, Watkins. The deputy made contact with the driver, found all to be okay and advised them to move on.
1:20 p.m. the Sheriff's Office took a report on a dog bite complaint that occurred at a residence on County State Aid Highway 3, Eden Valley.
1:53 p.m. the Sheriff's Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance, per Stearns County Sheriff's Office, for a medical on 93rd Avenue, Kimball. No transport was made by Watkins Ambulance.
