Saturday, Jan. 28, the 28th annual Stearns County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Recognition Conference will be held as training and recognition for Stearns County EMS providers.
The conference will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Peter Engel Science Center at St. John's University.
Stearns County uses this special day not only as training, but as a way to thank the County's EMS personnel who play a vital role in saving lives and protecting the health of Stearns County citizens.

The event is sponsored by the Stearns County Human Services Board in cooperation with the Stearns County Public Health Division and the Stearns County EMS Task Force.
Stearns County's effective Emergency Medical Services network is made up 1,100 EMS personnel within 55 agencies of fire/rescue, law enforcement first responders, ambulance services and emergency room personnel.
