(ST. PAUL) Final live auction for 2011 State auction season. From tractors and backhoes to boats and snowmobiles to cars and trucks, the state's December 3rd surplus auction in Grand Rapids offers something for nearly every North Country need.
The public auction of state and local government surplus property will include:
Approximately 60 cars and trucks with many four-wheel drive vehicles
Boats/Motor/Trailer packages, equipment trailers
Backhoe and crawlers and tractors by Case, John Deere and others
Polaris snowmobiles and all-terrain vehicles
Many miscellaneous items including Erskine and John Deere snow blowers.

The gates open for inspection and registration at 8 a.m. at the DNR Headquarters, 1201 E. Highway 2 in Grand Rapids. Bidding begins at about 9:30 a.m. Inspection starts at 8:30. All items are sold as-is, where-is; sales are final and must be settled in full with cash or personal check the day of the auction.
No need to stand in long lines; convenient, quick and easy registration and bidding numbers are now both available online. The only requirements are a computer with an internet connection and a printer; simple instructions are on the Surplus Services website, www.mnsurplus.org, then click on the 'Auctions' link.
