In the month of November on two Mondays, a group of students joined at the high school in the FACS room for the Cooking Club. Our theme for these classes was Thanksgiving. Our first day of class, we made a feast that included turkey, stuffing, potatoes, green bean casserole, gravy, and cranberries. The last day was dessert day! The students got to choose within their group what favorite dessert they wanted to make. They also had to set the table, clean their station, and do dishes.
Next month, Dec. 5 and 19, the Science Club will be meeting at the high school FACS room. Hold on and be ready to experiment! We just might make a mess. Guessing what is going to happen in the experiment is only part of the fun, watching the results is even better.
Also Dec. 5, in the KES Experience Room, you can join Clay Camp Creation. Come create some artwork out of clay. Dec. 14, in the KAHS FACS room, get ready for the holidays with cookies and treats. Make a mess in our kitchen and bring goodies home to share with family and friends. Come join the Holiday Bake and Take class.
