The St. Damien Knights of Columbus Council, composed primarily by members of the Church of St. Anne in Kimball, St. Anthony in Watkins, and Holy Cross in Pearl Lake wishes to announce upcoming breakfasts to establish a Special Projects Fund (SPF) for each parish.
Our original intention was to raise funds to purchase an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) for each parish. An AED can be used by a relatively untrained person to revive a victim of instant cardiac arrest. Since it was found that Holy Cross already has a unit, the SPF funds will be donated to Holy Cross School. Two parishioners at St. Anthony have donated a unit, so funds raised there will be given to the Organ Restoration project. A St. Anne's parishioner has made a major contribution toward their unit, and other donations are welcome.
The SPF breakfasts will be held on Nov. 20 at St. Anthony, Dec. 4
at Holy Cross, and Dec. 18 at
St. Anne's. We appreciate the support of our area communities.
