A Retiree Appreciation Day will be held Saturday, Aug. 27, at Camp Ripley, Little Falls. Retirees from all branches of the armed forces and their family members are eligible to attend. The event will run from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Training & Community Center, Building 11-1.
Retiree Appreciation Day is an opportunity for all armed forces retirees, spouses, widows and/or guests to receive updated information about retiree entitlement programs.

From Warroad to Willmar, military retirees and their spouses are invited to Camp Ripley, near Little Falls, Saturday, Aug. 27, for the 10th Annual Armed Forces Retiree Appreciation Day or AFRAD.
The AFRAD is an opportunity for all armed forces retirees, spouses and widows to receive updated verbal and written information about their government benefits as military retirees, enlisted and officer, from all the military services.
There will be specialists from government and veteran affairs to talk about the entitlement programs and the current information on these programs.
A member of the Camp Ripley staff will be available, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 26-27, in the Training and Community Center building to renew or update retiree or dependent identification cards.
