Constance "Connie" O'Hern of South Haven died Thursday, July 28, 2011, at the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. She was 63.
Funeral services were Tuesday, Aug. 2, at the Church of St. Philip in Litchfield with Father Joseph Steinbeisser officiating. Interment was at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Litchfield.
Constance Marie "Connie" O'Hern was born May 1, 1948, in Providence, R.I. to Jim and Ruth (Himsl) Ingham. She attended Holy Angels High School in Richfield, graduating in 1966. She continued her education at Normandale College, graduating in 1990. Dec. 31, 1966, she was united in marriage to James O'Hern in Watertown, S.D.
Connie worked as an electronics purchaser with Control Data and Zytek Corporation from 1970 to 1990. She enjoyed traveling with and watching her sons play hockey, playing softball, and was a bowling expert. She and her husband enjoyed their years of retirement together splitting time in their homes in Minnesota and Florida.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents Jim and Ruth.
She is survived by her husband James O'Hern of South Haven; sons Tim O'Hern of Annandale, and Chris O'Hern of Fort Myers, Fla.; grandchildren Brittany O'Hern of Fort Myers, Fla., Johnny O'Hern of Fort Myers, Fla., and Ryder O'Hern of Annandale; brother John Ingham of Plymouth, and sister Janice Higgins of Edina.
