Notice is hereby given that the Kimball City Council will meet in the council chambers of the City Hall at 7 p.m. on August 29, 2011, to consider the making of improvements to the water tower, water treatment filter tank at the water treatment plant, and utility, drainage, and street improvements on Cherry Street between a point
300 feet north of Hazel Avenue and a point 400 feet south of Linden Avenue, on Oak Street between a point 200 feet north of Spruce Avenue and Linden Avenue, on Elm Street between Highway 55 and Linden Avenue, on Spruce Avenue between the Kimball High School and Magnus Johnson Street, on Hazel Avenue between a point 600 feet west of Elm Street and Main Street ((Trunk Highway 15), on the alley between Elm Street and Main Street (Trunk Highway 15) from Linden Avenue to Spruce Avenue, on the alley between Main Street (Trunk Highway 15) and Oak Street from Linden Avenue to Spruce Avenue, and on the alley between Oak Street and Cherry Street from Linden Avenue to a point 300 feet north of Hazel Avenue pursuant to Minn.

The estimated cost of the improvement is $2,787,000. A reasonable estimate of the impact of the assessment will be available at the hearing. Such persons desiring to be heard with reference to the proposed improvement will be heard at this meeting.
The Council may order the proposed improvement and order preparation of plans at the hearing.
