Teens and preteens, ages 12 and older, are invited to take part in a Mosaics Workshop at the Great River Regional Library Annandale location 2:30 to 4 p.m. Monday, June 27. Artist Lisa Arnold will help students experience the joy of beautiful mosaics materials while learning the craft. Students will be introduced to mosaic art, materials, tools, technique and design. They will learn various cutting and shaping techniques, use numerous tools, and create their own work of art. Younger children are welcome with a parent present to help with materials, glass, cutting, etc. The attendance limit is 20 and pre-registration is required. This program is funded in part with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
