St. Cloud Municipal Band Summer Concerts
The St. Cloud Municipal Band is kicking off their 2011 Summer Concert Series with a Fourth of July concert at Heritage park in St. Cloud. The band is under the direction of Adam Turvola Hultberg.
Adam, the son of Stan and Dorothy Hultberg of Monticello, holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Bethel University and a Master of Arts in Education from Hamline University. Adam is a graduate of Monticello High School. In his extra time, he enjoys playing trombone in the St. Cloud Symphony Orchestra, Park Rapids Area Community Band, and the Upper Mississippians. Adam and his wife, Amy currently reside in New York Mills, MN.
The St. Cloud Municipal Band is a fellowship of musicians sharing our tradition of performing great music.
They have been performing great music since the 1800s. Every year, the band performs more than 20 free concerts at venues all around the St. Cloud, Minnesota area, including Barden Park, the Whitney Senior Center, and the Historic Paramount Theater.
Their free performances are scheduled as follows:
July 4, Hester Park 8:30-10 p.m.

July 20, Sauk Centre 7:30 p.m.
July 21, Barden Park 7:30 p.m.
July 28, Barden Park 7:30 p.m.
