Seventh-grade softball wrap up

By Barry Strand, coach

The seventh-grade softball team wrapped up their season with an impressive home win over B-B-E Thursday evening. The team got off to a fast start scoring five runs in their first inning at bat. The Cubs then followed it up with a stiff defense by holding the Jaguars scoreless after one inning of play. The second inning would be the same as the first, with the Cubs adding five more runs. The game finished with the Cubs coming out on top with by a score of 13-8.

The team and I would like to thank the parents and fans for their support at our games. I would like to thank the girls for their dedication and hard work each night at practice. This was a very fun team to coach, and I look forward to watching them play in the future.
