Kimball's Memorial Day 2011 program is planned for 10 a.m. Monday, May 30, at the Kimball Elementary School.
The Kimball American Legion Frederick A. Metcalf Post 261 will present the Colors.
The Introduction will be by Jim Herda of the American Legion, and Dori Hamilton of the American Legion Auxiliary.
The Invocation will be by Father Tom Olson of St. Anne's Catholic Church. The Pledge of Allegiance will be recited by the assembly.
The Final Roll Call will be followed by the presentation of "The Empty Chair" by the Legion Auxiliary.
The public will be asked to join in singing "God Bless America," followed by the Flag Folding Ceremony done by the Auxiliary.
A Memorial selection will be by Ashley Hanson, followed by the assembly joining in singing "America."
The Benediction will be given by Father Tom Olson, followed by "Taps."
The public is invited to follow the Legion and Auxiliary to the school lawn for the gravesite service.
The Kimball Legion, Auxiliary, Juniors, and SAL members should meet at the Legion Club at 9:30 a.m. for the parade line-up.
There will be a potluck lunch at the Kimball Legion Club following the program, everyone is welcome to come and bring a dish to share.
