Ellen Arnold awarded Headmaster's Scholarship

Ellen Arnold of Kimball has been awarded the Headmaster's Scholarship from St. John's Preparatory School. The recipients are selected based on high academic achievements, leadership qualities and civic responsibilities. St. John's Prep provides a limited number of $1,000 Headmaster's Scholarships to outstanding students. The Headmaster Scholarship is renewable up through graduation and priority is given to students entering ninth grade. Ellen joins her sister Claire who was awarded the Headmaster's Scholarship in 2009, and which was renewed in 2010 and 2011. The scholarship application includes an essay written by the student describing how the student's work ethic and behavior exemplify the Benedictine values of St. John's Prep, as well as the student's commitment to continued academic excellence and service to others. Ellen and Claire are the daughters of Margaret and John Arnold of Kimball.
