Local crime blotters May 19

Wright County Sheriff's Office

On May 9, Lisa Ann Potter, 46, of Annandale was arrested in Corinna Township on the charge of domestic assault.

On May 14, Charles Howard Northern, 50, of South Haven was arrested in Maple Lake on the charge of 3rd degree DWI.

On May 14, Troy Scott Steinhaus, 40, of Annandale was arrested in Buffalo on charges of disorderly conduct and obstruct legal process.

On May 14, Lisa Ann Potter, 46, of Annandale was arrested in Corinna Township for violation of a no contact order.

On May 15, Richard Allan Wikan, 36, of Annandale was arrested in Annandale on a Wright County warrant for 5th degree assault.

There were 11 Property Damage Accidents, 2 Personal Injury Accidents, 3 Hit and Run Accidents and no Car Deer Accidents.

There were 7 arrests for DWI, 3 Underage Consumption arrests, 2 School Bus Stop Arm Violations, and 117 tickets for miscellaneous traffic violations issued this week.

Sunday, May 15

8:04 a.m. the Sheriff's Office received information and will be following up on a property damage accident with injuries that may have occurred by Lake Francis, Kimball.

12:23 p.m. the Sheriff's Office dispatched Watkins Rescue and Ambulance for a medical on Meeker Avenue, Watkins. One individual was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital.

12:25 p.m. the Sheriff's Office dispatched Eden Valley Rescue and Watkins Ambulance for a medical on State Street, Eden Valley. Gold Cross Ambulance was dispatched for mutual aid for Watkins Ambulance. A short time later Gold Cross Ambulance was cancelled per Eden Valley Rescue, no transport was needed.

2:03 p.m. the Sheriff's Office dispatched Eden Valley Rescue and Watkins Ambulance for a medical on Elk Avenue, Eden Valley. One individual was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital.

7:35 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a driving complaint in the area of US Highway 12 and MN Highway 15, Dassel. The deputy located the driver who was advised of the complaint.

Saturday, May 14

8:45 p.m. the Sheriff's Office assisted an individual with information at a residence on Luella Street, Watkins.

11:45 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to and dispatched Watkins Ambulance for a medical at a residence on Luella Street, Watkins. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

Friday, May 13

5:21 p.m. the Sheriff's Office received a report of unsafe road conditions on 735th Avenue, South Haven. The Meeker County Highway Department was contacted.

8:53 p.m. the Sheriff's Office transferred a cellular 9-1-1 call to Wright County Sheriff's Office for a report of a personal injury accident occurring in South Haven.

8:56 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of suspicious activity near a residence on 238th Street, Dassel. The deputy made contact with two individual who were delivering newspapers to area residents.

Thursday, May 12

12:23 a.m. the Sheriff's Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance to a medical at a residence on Acorn Road, Eden Valley. One individual was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital.

7:13 a.m. the Sheriff's Office received a report of a driving complaint from Stearns County on MN Highway 22 in the Eden Valley area. The vehicle had left the area upon the deputy's arrival.

7:57 a.m. the Sheriff's Office arrested Shawn Allen Lance, age 37, of Dassel, on charge of criminal sexual conduct.

8:13 a.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a complaint of threats from a party on County State Aid Highway 2, Watkins.

1:38 p.m. the Sheriff's Office received a report of possible child abuse/maltreatment that was occurring in Stearns County. A deputy forwarded the information to the Stearns County Sheriff's office.

6:06 p.m. a Meeker County Sheriff's Deputy came across a stalled vehicle at the intersection of MN Highway 55 and 667th Avenue, Watkins. The driver had help arrive and the vehicle was removed.

8:40 p.m. the Sheriff's Office took a report of criminal sexual activity at a residence on County State Aid Highway 18, Dassel.

Wednesday, May 11

8:09 a.m. the Sheriff's Office received a call regarding the possible sighting of a missing person, traveling northbound on MN Highway 15 north of Dassel. The information was relayed to Stearns County Sheriff's office and the MN State Patrol.

10:45 a.m. the Sheriff's Office received a cellular 9-1-1 call from Center Point Energy stating they were at the scene of a gas line cut in the city of South Haven. The call was transferred to the Wright County Sheriff's Office.

12:48 p.m. the Sheriff's Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance and Eden Valley Rescue for a medical at an address on Stearns Avenue East, Eden Valley. One individual was transported to St Cloud Hospital.

8:52 p.m. the Sheriff's Office received a report of loose cows near a residence on County State Aid Highway 27, Kimball. The owner was contacted and he was on his way to get the cows.

Tuesday, May 10

7:41 a.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to and dispatched Watkins Ambulance and Eden Valley Rescue to a medical at a residence on Park Avenue West, Eden Valley. One individual was transported to the Paynesville Hospital.

12:47 p.m. the Sheriff's Office received a report of a possible scam attempt at a residence on 1st Street, Watkins.

1:50 p.m. the Sheriff's Office took a report of possible child abuse at a residence on 675th Avenue, Watkins.

2:45 p.m. the Sheriff's Office took a report of a possible vulnerable adult at a residence on Luella Street, Watkins.

5:14 p.m. the Sheriff's Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance and Eden Valley Rescue to a medical on Hillside Drive, Eden Valley, Stearns County. There was no transport.

5:24 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to and dispatched Litchfield Fire to a report of a downed power line that started a grass fire on 645th Avenue, Watkins. Meeker Coop also assisted on the scene.

7:41 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle at a business on Church Street, Watkins. The deputy checked the area and the vehicle was no longer at the business.

8:45 p.m. the Sheriff's Office received a call from a residence in Wright County reporting an injured pelican on 64th Street West, Cokato. They were given the number to the Wright County Sheriff's Office.

Monday, May 9

1:41 a.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to and dispatched Watkins Ambulance for a medical at a residence on Central Avenue South, Watkins. One individual was transported to St Cloud Hospital.

4:35 a.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to an alarm at a business on 3rd Street North, Watkins. The deputy was cancelled prior to arrival, as the alarm was due to the weather.
