Family and friends gathered at the Kimball Golf Club to celebrate with the 96-year-old who has been a vital part of Kimball most of his life. The fire department delivered Luvern in the city's original 1948 fire truck. The mayor presented him with the proclamation. Friends and family visited all afternoon.
