Kimball youth wrestlers go to State

Mason Mills, a kindergartner, wrestled at 40 pounds in District competition, and took first place. That qualified him for Regionals in New London-Spicer and he placed second in the tournament. The top three wrestlers from Regionals advanced to the NYWA State Wrestling Tournament in Rochester, Minn., which was held April 2-3. Mason came up short and went 1-2, but the overall experience was a success.

Evan Rowland, a kindergartner, qualified from Regionals and wrestled at 44 pounds in the Jaycee State Wrestling Tournament in Albany, March 26, and took second place.

Jasiah and Devon Paskewitz also wrestled in the Jaycee State Wrestling Tournament. Jasiah was the State Champion and has been for three years in a row. Devon also wrestled well, and placed fourth in the Jaycee State Wrestling Tournament.
