In the event that certain federal government operations are suspended, the St. Cloud VA Health Care System and all operating locations will continue to provide health care services to our veterans without interruption.
Our 2011 budget is the result of an advanced appropriation and our employees are in an "excepted" status.
Veterans can plan on keeping their scheduled appointments and obtaining medical services.
For more information, the "Veterans Field Guide to Government Shutdown" is available on the St. Cloud VA website at www.stcloud.va.gov.
The St. Cloud VA Health Care System began serving veterans in 1924 and proudly delivers care to more than 37,000 Veterans in the upper Midwest region. The system's mission is to honor America's veterans by providing exceptional health care that improves their health and well-being. In addition to the main facility in St. Cloud, the St. Cloud VA Health Care System operates three Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) in Alexandria, Brainerd, and Montevideo, Minnesota.
All Veterans are encouraged to enroll for VA health care. Veterans interested in enrolling for VA health care should contact our Eligibility Office at (320) 255-6340.
