Erlyne Rorick of Dassel, formerly of Kingston, died Friday, March 25, 2011, at the Lakeside Health Care Center of Dassel. She was 71.
An interment of the urn will take place at a later date.
Erlyne Jean (Gray) Rorick was born Dec. 3, 1939, to Clarence and Esther (Alt) Gray in Roundup, Mont. She grew up in the Roundup area and graduated from Roundup High School in 1957.
Erlyne was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She had been a Sunday School teacher for numerous years.
Nov. 22, 1958, Erlyne was united in marriage to Patrick Rorick in Las Cruces, N.M. Together they made their home in Montana from 1958 to 1961. In 1961, they moved to California where they resided until 1973, when they moved to the Kingston and Dassel area, where they have made their home since.
Erlyne was preceded in death by one son Keith Ray Rorick in 1983, her parents, and a brother Richard.
She is survived by her husband Pat Rorick of Dassel; children Kirk Lee Rorick of Cokato, Kent Edward Rorick of Cherokee, Okla.; three grandchildren, two step-grandchildren; and one brother Edward Gray of Dapper, Utah.
