The Kimball Kruisers 4-H Club had a busy week of Community Service. Our big project was that we delivered tamarack trees to all the students of Kimball Elementary School Monday, May 4. We went into all the classrooms to hand out the trees and tell about our 4-H club. Hopefully, everyone went home and planted their trees.
For our May meeting we all met at the golf course and cleaned our road ditches. After that we went back to St. Anne's and had our regular meeting and taco salad. Cora Gohmann is setting up a group to go shopping for fleece material to make blankets for our Helping Hands Grant. We also talked about planting with the community garden. Kari Schiefelbein showed us her project for the county fair and Zack Schiefelbein showed us rocks he painted for his project. Delanie Zongo also talked about her owl project.
Our next meeting will be June 28. We will meet at the Elementary School and play softball and have food.
