Sunday, April 19, the Hayloft Bar and Restaurant in the city of St. Augusta was burglarized. The suspects made forced entry through a door at the rear of the building. While inside, they pried open several different machines to steal the money inside, including the pull-tab funds, a dart-board game, a toy box and a bar-top video game. Also taken during the burglary were numerous bills, most were one-dollar or five-dollar bills that were pinned to the ceiling of the bar. These bills have signatures and/or phrases written on them with a black marker. The Stearns County Sheriff's Office is asking if the public may have information on this burglary, and to call the Sheriff's Office at (320) 251-4240 with any information. Specifically, they should be watching for anyone passing bills that may have the black-marker writing signatures or phrases on them.
