Jordan Joseph, a sixth-grader at Kimball Elementary school, traveled to Fremont, Nebraska April 3 and 4, to represent Minnesota in an elementary national dual team wresting event. The team was comprised of various Minnesota state champions and place winners assembled to compete against some of the best all-star teams from across the nation. The level of competition was amazing with many national champion-caliber kids representing their respective states well. Jordan's team (MN Maroon) had seven duals in two days, going 4-3 to place fourth in the event overall. Jordan wrestled very well against the stiff competition, going undefeated for the entire event. Jordan earned team MVP honors by pinning all of his opponents except one which he defeated 7-0. The entire experience was very positive and Jordan made many new wrestling friends from across the nation.
