Kimball girls' traveling teams had great season

Kimball girls' sixth-grade traveling team have been playing together for 3 years. They had a great season this year taking third at Kimball, and second at Holdingford tournaments. They also held their own in the Highway 55 League with a 3-4 record. Point guards Macy Hurrle, Ellen Arnold, and new comer Nicole Vossen, did an awesome job handling the ball. Posts Tori Denn, Madelyn O'Brien, Danielle Helgesen, Ashley Baumann, and new comers Tara Smith and Regan Dockery, dominated the middle. Madison Gasper, Hannah Serbus, Tina Kastanek, and new this year Erika Garding, rounded out the team at the wing position. The girls worked very hard, learned new skills, and improved throughout the season. With only five girls trying out for the fourth-grade team, the coaches recruited some very talented girls from the third-grade class. The Kimball fourth-grade traveling team had a good showing this season, with a 3-2 record for the season and a second place at the Holdingford Tournament. The players learned new skills, gained valuable knowledge, and showed great improvement for their first year in traveling basketball.
