Bradley Carlson died unexpectedly Wednesday morning, Feb. 25, 2009, near his home in Franklin, Minn. He was 60. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 2, at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Calvary Lutheran Cemetery. Visition will be one hour prior to the service Monday at the funeral home. Bradley Luther Carlson was born April 11, 1948, in Willmar to Charles and Marjorie (Thorson) Carlson. He grew up in the Willmar and Atwater communities, and graduated from Atwater High School in 1966. Bradley married Suzette Knaus June 30, 1970; they divorced in 1992. They made their home in Kimball, and he was employed at Anderson Trucking in St. Cloud. He later became self-employed as an over-the-road truck driver. Since 1992, Bradley has lived throughout the Kandiyohi County area. He enjoyed music, motorcycles, trips to "Vegas," working "out West," and his beloved cat Rucky. Bradley was preceded in death by his father Charles and brother David Carlson. He is survived by his children Brad (and Brenda) Carlson of Sartell, Tanya (and Tim) Dickie of Buffalo, Luke Carlson of Kimball, and Olivia (and Jeff) May of New Prague; and grandchildren Justin, Logan and Brandan Carlson, Jada, Carson and Blake Dickie, and Baby May; his mother Marjorie Carlson (and Leo Gruber) of Willmar; as well as other relatives and friends.
