Eleven new members have been elected to the Minnesota Dairy Research and Promotion Council board. The Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA), which conducts and certifies agricultural promotion council elections, announced the results of the mail-in balloting.
The newly elected board members will serve two-year terms on the 22-member Dairy Research and Promotion Council board. The board members guide the promotion council's activities and serve as advocates for Minnesota's dairy industry.
Newly elected Dairy Research and Promotion Council members are: District 2 Kay Henninger, Carlton, Minnesota District 4 Ken Herbranson, Clitherall, Minnesota District 6 Ronald Rinkel, Hillman, Minnesota District 8 Corrine Lieser, Belgrade, Minnesota District 10 Kathleen Skiba, North Branch, Minnesota District 12 Charles Krause, Buffalo, Minnesota District 14 Paul Fritsche, New Ulm, Minnesota District 16 Keith Knutson, Pine Island, Minnesota District 18 David Schwartz, Slayton, Minnesota District 20 Christine Sukalski, LeRoy, Minnesota District 22 Carolyn Freese, Lanesboro, Minnesota
