The Ridgewater College Theatre will present "Full Circle: An Evening of Four One-Act Plays" at 7:30 p.m. from Thursday, February 26 to Saturday, February 28 in the auditorium of the Hutchinson Campus.
The four one-act plays, recommended for an audience of adults and teenagers, include "The Role of Della," "Lost Girl," "Things that Go Bump in the Night," and "The Lesson."
"The Role of Della" is about a young actress who is tortured (metaphorically) by a cruel director.
"Lost Girl" tells the tale of a young girl who finds herself lost in a strange, foreign land. The only person who can help her doesn't speak English.
In "Things That Go Bump in the Night," a young woman can't sleep because she fears "people dressed in black" are moving her furniture in the middle of the night. Her husband tries to calm her fears.
In the final one-act play, "The Lesson," a bright, vivacious student comes to be tutored by an absent-minded professor, but the lesson does not go the way she originally imagines it will.
The performances are being directed by Jason Gonzalez. For information or advance tickets, call (320) 234-8500 or (800) 722-1151. Tickets are $5. Ridgewater College students may receive one free ticket with their student ID.
