ST. CLOUD, Minn.-St. Cloud State University's Department of Theatre, Film Studies and Dance will present "The Martyrdom of Peter Ohey" at 8 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday, Feb. 24-28, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 1, at the Performing Arts Center on campus. Vladimir Rovinsky, assistant professor of theatre, film studies and dance, will direct the production. Written by Polish playwright Slawomir Mrozek, "The Martyrdom of Peter Ohey" is about an average family faced with the discovery that a tiger lives in their bathroom. What will the government do? How will the news affect their taxes? Could the tiger improve foreign policy? And, most importantly, who will die in the end? Mrozek is an internationally recognized author of bold, provocative and unconventional plays. His morbid sense of humor reveals the distorted beliefs of his characters. For tickets, call the Atwood Memorial Center information desk at 320-308-4636 or visit www.scsutickets.com. Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for non-St. Cloud State students and senior citizens, and free for St. Cloud State students with a student ID.
