Close to 100 4-H members from Stearns County traveled to St. Paul recently to exhibit their array of non-livestock and livestock projects at the 2008 Minnesota State Fair. Stearns County 4-Hers did a great job displaying their projects and competed for Grand Champion placement with 86 other counties from Minnesota. They also had the opportunity to interact with the public and educate fairgoers through their exhibits, demonstrations, performances, ambassador roles, technology activities and livestock shows. Participants exhibited their Livestock projects Aug. 20-23 and Non-Livestock projects Aug. 30-Sept. 1.
