Brittany Krull, an admissions counselor from Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, will visit Kimball Area High School at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30. Information on financial aid, tuition, academic programs, housing and campus life will be discussed. All interested students and parents are welcome to attend. Founded in 1963, Southwest Minnesota State University has experienced continual growth with on-campus enrollments exceeding 3,500. Students enjoy a close working relationship with faculty and other students, as well as a robust campus environment including a new $18 million Student Center, $6 million "apartment style" residence hall, a $9 million library renovation, and an approximately $18 million Regional Event Center which now hosts concerts, trade shows, conferences and is the home to Mustang football and Mustang soccer.
