The Kimball chapter of Ducks Unlimited held their inaugural banquet Friday, April 11, at Playland Ballroom in Kimball. They hoped for 150 people, and expected 100. But that was before the snowstorm that closed schools and businesses throughout our region Friday. More than 200 tickets were sold, and nearly 200 attended the banquet. Ducks Unlimited took in more than $20,000 in tickets, raffles, and silent auction items. There were more than 150 winners. By all accounts, the kick-off event was a great success, and Kimball's chapter of Ducks Unlimited is off to a healthy start.
