Once again, Kimball Elementary School's Student Government was very successful during the annual food drive held in March. The students donated approximately 1,401 items during the two-week period. Student Government members delivered the items to the Kimball Area Food Shelf at St. Anne's. Mary Mathias, the food shelf coordinator, was very pleased with the amount of food that was donated. Individual classrooms competed to see who could bring in the most items, and the top three classrooms were: Mrs. Forseman (1st grade), Mrs. Niemi (5th grade), and Mrs. Herrrington (5th grade). The winning classroom, Mrs. Forsman, was awarded a $30 certificate to Gohmann's Foods to use for a future classroom party. Student Government thanks all students and their families for their generosity. The clients at the Kimball Area Food Shelf will certainly benefit from all of the donations.
Kimball Student Government members include: Sidney Schrei-
ner, Dani Terwey-Lyrek, Julia Zipoy, Jake Traurig, Kenzie Leither, Madi Truenow, Abbey Schie-
felbein, Melanie Loehrer, and also Mrs. Herrington as their advisor.
