Wright County Sheriff's Office

On March 26, Blake Henry Schauf, 22, of Maple Lake was arrested in Maple Lake Township on the charge of violation of an order for protection.

On March 27, Linda Sue Gipson, 50, of Annandale was arrested in Montrose on the charges of second-degree assault and domestic assault.

On April 1, Waylon Douglas Vaughn, 30, of Annandale, was arrested in Clearwater on the charge of domestic assault.

There was 1 property-damage accident, 1 personal-injury accident, 1 hit-and-run accident, and no car-deer accidents.

There were 3 arrests for DWI,

3 underage-consumption arrests, and 74 tickets for miscellaneous traffic violations issued this week.

Sunday, April 1

1:30 a.m. the Sheriff's Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance and contacted Stearns County to dispatch Kimball Rescue for a medical at an address on 325th Street, Kimball. One individual was transported to St Cloud Hospital.

2:43 a.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a noise complaint on 1st Street, Watkins. Upon arrival of the deputies the owner was contacted and warned of the complaint.

11:20 a.m. the Sheriff's Office took a report on a civil issue occurring on 318th Street, Kingston Township.

3:14 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a gas drive off from Schmidty's on Astro Boulevard, Cosmos. The deputy located the driver of the vehicle, in turn the individual returned and paid for the fuel.

6:38 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a civil matter at a residence in the Watkins Trailer Park, Watkins. Upon arrival of the deputies everything was found to be fine.

Saturday, March 31

6:52 a.m. the Sheriff's Office took a report of a vehicle in the ditch on 350th Street, North Kingston Township.

8:31 a.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a cellular 9-1-1 hung up call at a residence on Brooks Street, Eden Valley. A deputy located the caller and determined everything to be fine.

12:01 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to and dispatched Watkins Ambulance, contacted Stearns County Sheriff's office for Kimball Rescue and Fire and notified the MN State Patrol of a one vehicle roll-over on MN Highway 15, North Kingston. Later Xcel Energy was notified of the damage to their power pole. One individual was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital.

3:17 p.m. the Sheriff's Office took a report regarding a civil issue that occurred on County State Aid Highway 27, Kingston Township.

5:44 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to and dispatched the Dassel Fire Department for a fire in a dryer at a residence on 2nd Street, Dassel. The fire department assisted by extinguishing the fire.

6:38 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of horses on the road near an address on County State Aid Highway 3, Eden Valley. Upon arrival of the deputy the owner had the horses contained.

7:11 p.m. the Sheriff's Office per the request of Stearns County dispatched Watkins Fire, Watkins Ambulance and Eden Valley Fire for a barn fire at an address on 173rd Avenue, Luxemburg. Upon arrival it was determined to be a shed on fire that was a total loss.

9:40 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a cellular 9-1-1 call reporting a car/deer accident with no injuries and minimal damage, on County State Aid Highway 21 near 715th Avenue, Dassel. Upon arrival of the deputy the caller had left the area, the deer was dead and off the roadway.

Friday, March 30

1:16 a.m. the Sheriff's Office received a cellular 9-1-1 call reporting a car/deer accident on MN Highway 24 and County State Aid Highway 17, North Kingston Township. The caller was transferred to the MN State Patrol.

9:28 a.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to and dispatched Eden Valley Rescue and Watkins Ambulance to a medical at a residence on MN Highway 55, Manannah Township. One individual was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital.

10:50 a.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to and dispatched Watkins Fire to a fire alarm at the Watkins Elementary School, Watkins. The deputy found that everything was okay and that it was a false alarm.

11:06 a.m. the Sheriff's Office took a report of theft from Bad Boys Custom Cycle, 3rd Street North, Dassel.

12:12 p.m. the Sheriff's Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance to a medical at a residence on 340th St., Forest Prairie Township. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

2:44 p.m. the Sheriff's Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance, per

Stearns County, to a medical at a residence on Linden Avenue East in the city of Kimball. Stearns County canceled the ambulance a short time later.

4:43 p.m. the Sheriff's Office received a report of unsafe conditions on Lake Minnie Belle, Greenleaf Township. Boat and Water Patrol responded and removed a large log from the lake.

5:56 p.m. the Sheriff's Office received a report of a suspicious fire near the intersection of County State Aid Highway 27 and 745th Avenue, Kingston Township. A deputy responded and found all to be okay; there was an active burn permit for the burn.

8:27 p.m. the Sheriff's Office received a report of a car/deer accident on US Highway 12, Dassel Township. A deputy issued a deer possession tag to an individual for the deer.

Thursday, March 29

7:02 a.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to and dispatched Eden Valley Rescue for a lift assist at a residence on MN Highway 22, Manannah Township.

11:58 a.m. the Sheriff's Office took a report of theft from a residence on 365th Street, Forest Prairie Township.

9:25 p.m. the Sheriff's Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance to a medical at a residence on Central Avenue South, Watkins. No transport was needed.

Wednesday, March 28

10:53 a.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to an alarm at the Watkins Elementary School, Watkins. The deputy found that it was a false alarm. Everything was okay at the school.

2:55 p.m. the Sheriff's Office located a stalled vehicle on MN Highway 15, Kingston Township. The owner of the vehicle contacted a tow and had the vehicle removed from the highway.

3:37 p.m. the Sheriff's Office took a report of a tampering with a vehicle at a residence on Western Avenue North, Watkins.

9:04 p.m. the Sheriff's Office dispatched Watkins Fire to a report of a grass fire on 168th Avenue, Luxemburg Township. Watkins Fire warned the homeowner to activate their burning permit before they burn.

Tuesday, March 27

3:13 p.m. the Sheriff's Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at the Eden Valley Area Medical Clinic, Meeker Avenue East, Eden Valley. One individual was transported to the

St. Cloud hospital.

Monday, March 26

7:54 a.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a 9-1-1 hang up call from a residence on 617th Avenue, Eden Valley. Upon arrival of the deputy everything was found to be fine.

1:01 p.m. the Sheriff's Office dispatched Dassel Fire for a carbon monoxide alarm at a residence on 742nd Avenue, Kingston Township. Everything was found to be fine.

4:42 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of suspicious activity at a residence on 362nd Street, Forest Prairie Township. Upon arrival of the deputy the party was advised that the Sheriff's Office would do extra patrol in the area and they should call when the activity is happening.

5:09 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a person out of control at a residence on 365th Street, Forest Prairie Township. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.
