Bob Bosma died Monday, Nov. 15, 2010, at his Watkins home. He was 86.
Private family services were held at Ertl Funeral Home in Watkins.
Bob Bosma was born Feb. 16, 1924, in Sioux City, Iowa, to Dick and Mabel (Kammalade) Bosma. He married Shirley Netland Sept. 15, 1943, in Willmar. Bob was employed as a machinist at the Grain Belt Brewery in Minneapolis for 25 years, retiring in 1981. He was a member of the Watkins and Eden Valley Sportsmen's Clubs, and he was an honorary member of the Watkins Fire Department. His hobbies included fishing and woodworking and visiting with local people. He was proud of his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Shirley of Watkins; children Gary Bosma of Kelseyville, Calif., Sharon (and Jim) Ruhwedel of Watkins, and Barbara (and Mike) Davis of Portland, Ore.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
