Teens and preteens ages 7-14 are invited to learn "How to Draw 104 Cartoons" with Gary Harbo at the Kimball library 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 15. Harbo is an author and illustrator who travels around the Midwest presenting art workshops to thousands of schoolchildren every year. His latest book, called "How to Draw 104 Cartoons," contains art lessons on how to draw the cool cartoons he has created over the years. He will demonstrate how to create a two-dimensional character during a step-by-step drawing lesson. The attendance limit is 25 and preregistration is required.
This program is funded in part with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage fund.
