Saturday, May 31, 4:07 p.m. - Personal injury accident in the city of Elrosa, involving a 1992 Chevrolet truck and a Yamaha PW 50 dirt bike. Roman Walz, 68 of Belgrade, was operating the truck westbound on 4th Avenue towards Main Street. Kassandra Wander, 7 of Granite Falls, was operating the dirt bike southbound in an alley towards 4th Avenue. She exited from the alley onto 4th Avenue and was struck by Walz. Elrosa Fire and Rescue, Minnesota State Patrol and Sauk Centre Ambulance also responded to the scene. Wander was treated on the scene and later flown by LifeLink helicopter to St. Cloud Hospital for further treatment. Walz was not injured. Sunday, June 1, 1:20 p.m. - Personal injury accident at 103rd Avenue and 120th Street in Maine Prairie Township involving an ATV. Charlie Dick, 15 of Watkins, was operating a Honda Rancher ES 350 eastbound on 120th Street when he lost control and overturned into the ditch on the east side of 103rd Avenue. Also responding to the call were Kimball Fire and Rescue and Watkins Ambulance. Dick was treated at the scene and transported to St. Cloud Hospital for treatment of his injury. The ATV was returned to his parents, who are the owners. Sunday, June 1, 3:05 p.m. - Personal injury accident, car versus off highway motorcycle (also referred to as a dirt bike), on 230th Street near Fallow Road in the city of St. Augusta. Brittany Brannan, 17 of St. Cloud, was operating a 2003 Chevrolet Malibu westbound on 230th Street approaching Fallow Road. Trent Henkel, 15 of Kimball, was operating a 125cc. Suzuki Off Highway Motorcycle, also traveling westbound on the shoulder of 230th Street. Henkel turned to the left in front of the Brannan Malibu and was struck. Henkel was transported to St. Cloud Hospital for treatment of injuries by private vehicle. All accidents remain under investigation by Stearns County Sheriff's office.
