Cards of thanks

Dear Family and Friends: We want to thank you for all of the prayers and support you have provided to Brandon and our family over the last several months. We cannot begin to explain how comforting it has been to know how you have been pulling for Brandon. No matter what our mailing address is, we will always view Kimball as our "home". This community, our community, is truly a special place; and the cards, phone calls, prayer lists, and unwavering support have been an incredible gift to our family, a gift we will never forget. Two weeks ago Brandon received his first radiation injection therapy at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Ohio, and we are thrilled to inform you that he is doing very well. We are likely to get to know Columbus very well as Brandon will require this procedure to be performed at least annually until he is 10 to 15 years old, but we are extremely optimistic that his doctor will be able to manage and reduce the likelihood of infection and that he will be able to live a full and active life and avoid further surgery on his tumor. Thank you again for all of the support as it has been a tremendous assistance in helping to lessen the emotional burden we have been dealing with related to Brandon's health issues. Your prayers and support have made a huge difference, and we cannot begin to tell you how much we have appreciated it. THANK YOU! Kirk, Jeanie, Riley & Brandon Schultz ********** Thank you to the Kimball American Legion Post #261 Honor Guard for bestowing military honors for Leroy Loftren on May 12, 2008. Luella Lofgren ********** The Kimball Area Fire and Rescue Department would like to give a big thank you to Jason Peglow, Chad Almgren and The Kimball Fire Department Auxiliary for the decorative rock that has been placed in front of the fire hall.
